0:00 · Start in Coach

Welcome, coaches. Open the coach link or Crew Pass from your organizer. Check the field and current game before making changes. In the Coach tab, Checklist opens your pregame briefing. If access is denied, ask the organizer for coach access.

0:19 · Check both lineups

Open Lineup and check both teams. Confirm names, jersey numbers, batting order, defensive positions, and the starting pitcher. Use Setup for roster imports when needed. Review imported players before game time, and agree on the starting lineup with your scorer.

0:38 · Put the game on the schedule

In Coach, choose Add Game. Enter the date, time, opponent, location, and home or away assignment. Save to Schedule, then check the saved entry. Make sure families know when to arrive and which field to use.

0:55 · Keep families in the loop

Use Post Alert to write a team announcement. State what changed and what families should do. Use Share or Q R to share the fan page. Keep operator passes with your crew; families only need the spectator link.

1:11 · Hand off to the crew

Before the first pitch, confirm who is scoring and who is running video. Agree on the pitcher and batting order. Ask someone to open the fan link and verify the teams and score. Coordinate any lineup changes with the scorer.

Try it yourself

Read through the checklist with your scorer before the first game. Use a separate organizer-approved practice game for any edits.

Game-day checklist

Checks stay in this browser when storage is available. They do not change the game.

Need a hand?

I cannot edit the team.

Open the organizer's crew link and check your assigned role. Ask the organizer for coach access if it is missing.

The lineup looks wrong.

Compare both teams with the official lineup before scoring starts. Coordinate corrections with the scorer so changes are made once.

Still stuck? Tell your team organizer which role, field, and screen you are using, and what you expected to happen.

0:00 · Open your team's fan link

Welcome, fans. Tap the spectator link from your team, or scan its Q R code. Check the teams and field so you are following the right game. The public fan page does not require a crew pass.

0:15 · Read the live game

Open the Field tab for GameStream. It shows the game as the scorer records it. Read the inning and score, then the balls, strikes, and outs. The diamond shows runners on base. Updates depend on the scorer and the connection, so allow time for a play to appear.

0:35 · Watch or listen

Open Video to watch when the crew is broadcasting. Tap play or the player's audio control if your browser requires it. Prefer listening? Tap Radio off to enable spoken play by play. Keep one audio source on to avoid overlapping sound.

0:53 · Make it easier to follow

For a simpler view, open More and turn on Simple Mode. Use Box for game totals. Look for Schedule and Notices in the game navigation for upcoming games and team updates. Some options are grouped in a menu on smaller screens.

1:10 · Share and reconnect

Use Share, or More then Spectator Q R, to invite family. If updates stop, check your connection and refresh the page. If video is offline, follow GameStream while the crew reconnects. A missing video feed does not necessarily mean the game has stopped.

Try it yourself

Open the fan link, find the inning and outs, then try Simple Mode. Viewing the game does not change the official score.

Your quick start

  1. Open your team's fan link

    Spectator link > Watch

    • Tap the link or scan the spectator QR
    • Check the teams and field
    • No crew pass needed
  2. Read the live game

    Watch > FIELD (GameStream)

    • Open FIELD and check the inning and score
    • Follow balls, strikes, and outs
    • Watch the diamond for runners
  3. Watch or listen

    Video / Radio off

    • Open Video when a stream is available
    • Tap the player's play or audio control
    • Tap Radio off to enable play-by-play
  4. Make it easier to follow

    More > Simple Mode

    • Open More, then Simple Mode
    • Use Box for game totals
    • Check Schedule and Notices for updates
  5. Share and reconnect

Share / More > Spectator QR

    • Share the spectator link with family
    • If frozen, check connection and refresh
    • If video is offline, follow GameStream

Game-day checklist

Checks stay in this browser when storage is available. They do not change the game.

Need a hand?

There is no video or sound.

Open Video and tap play or unmute. If the feed is offline, the crew may not be broadcasting yet. GameStream can still show scoring updates.

The score is not changing.

Check your connection and refresh. Confirm the field and teams. Updates only appear when the scorer records them.

Still stuck? Tell your team organizer which role, field, and screen you are using, and what you expected to happen.

0:00 · Check before the first pitch

Welcome, scorers. Open your scorer Crew Pass. Confirm the field, teams, batting order, and starting pitcher in Lineup. Return to Score and check the batter. Agree who records each play so two people do not enter the same action.

0:18 · Record one pitch at a time

Use Ball for a ball, Strike for a called strike, Swing for a swinging strike, and Foul for a foul ball. Check the count after every entry. The controls can look different in simplified scoring layouts. Use the labels shown on your screen.

0:36 · Score a ball in play

When the ball is put in play, choose In Play and select the result, such as Single. Enter fielders when requested, in the order they handled the ball. Review each runner's destination before submitting. Do not assume every runner advanced just one base.

0:55 · Track runners and changes

Use Bases for runner actions between pitches, such as a stolen base. Record what actually happened and verify the diamond afterward. Coordinate substitutions and pitcher changes with the coach, and check the active batter and pitcher before the next pitch.

1:13 · Correct and verify

Made a mistake on the most recent action? Use Undo, verify the restored game state, then enter the correct action. Check the count, outs, score, and bases. For an older mistake, coordinate with the coach before undoing later plays. Review Box together after the game.

Try it yourself

In a separate practice game, record a ball, undo it, then record the correct pitch. Try a single and check the batter and all runners.

Your quick start

  1. Check before the first pitch

    Scorer > Lineup > Score

    • Verify field, teams, and batting order
    • Confirm the batter and pitcher
    • Agree who records each play
  2. Record one pitch at a time

    Score > Pitch controls

    • BALL: a ball; STRIKE: called strike
    • SWING: swinging strike; FOUL: foul ball
    • Check the count after each entry
  3. Score a ball in play

    Score > IN PLAY

    • Choose the result, such as SINGLE
    • Enter fielders when requested
    • Review every runner before submitting
  4. Track runners and changes

    Score > BASES / Lineup

    • Use BASES for runner actions
    • Record the outcome that actually happened
    • Coordinate lineup and pitcher changes
  5. Correct and verify

    Score > UNDO / Box

    • UNDO reverses the most recent action
    • Check the count, outs, score, and bases
    • Review Box with the coach

Game-day checklist

Checks stay in this browser when storage is available. They do not change the game.

Need a hand?

I tapped the wrong pitch.

If it is the most recent action, use UNDO, check the restored count, and enter the correct pitch. Coordinate first if another scorer has entered a later play.

My connection dropped.

Check the offline or connection banner. Reconnect and verify the shared game before re-entering anything; queued actions may sync automatically. Coordinate with the crew to avoid duplicate scoring.

Still stuck? Tell your team organizer which role, field, and screen you are using, and what you expected to happen.

0:00 · Check the broadcast deck

Welcome, videographers. Open your crew link and go to Live. Confirm the field and that O B S is connected. In Camera Feeds and Ingest, check which cameras are online. Preview a camera before trusting it for the broadcast.

0:18 · Connect and frame cameras

Check camera power, network, and framing. For a supported GoPro Labs camera, follow the on-screen Q R steps: save Wi-Fi, save the correct home or field address, then Start. Give it time to connect. Other cameras use the organizer's configured ingest setup.

0:39 · Choose shots deliberately

Check the scene switcher's mode. Hot Cut sends your selection directly to Program. Staged lets you select a shot before using Take; tapping the staged scene again can also take it live. Check the Program label to confirm what viewers are receiving.

0:56 · Verify where video goes

Read the stream target before starting Stream, and review the confirmation. Depending on setup, the other output is labeled Fan Feed or Record. Read its status to know what it controls. Check the spectator page on another device to verify the actual picture and sound.

1:16 · Monitor and finish

Watch dropped frames and congestion during the game. If a camera drops, use a working angle and check its power and network. Star Play can mark a highlight while you work. At the end, coordinate with the crew, stop the intended outputs, and confirm their status before packing up.

Try it yourself

Before going live, preview each camera and identify Hot Cut, Staged, and PROGRAM. Test output changes only with the organizer's approval.

Your quick start

  1. Check the broadcast deck

    Videographer > Live

    • Open the correct field's crew link
    • Confirm OBS is connected
    • Check Camera Feeds & Ingest
  2. Connect and frame cameras

Live > Camera Feeds & Ingest

    • Check power, network, and framing
    • For supported GoPro Labs: Wi-Fi, address, Start
    • Wait for the camera to come online
  3. Choose shots deliberately

    Live > OBS Scene Switcher

    • Hot Cut switches a scene immediately
    • Staged lets you select before TAKE
    • Check PROGRAM to confirm the live shot
  4. Verify where video goes

Live > Broadcast Stream & Health

    • Read the stream target before STREAM
    • FAN FEED and RECORD depend on setup
    • Check the spectator page on another device
  5. Monitor and finish

Live > Health / STAR PLAY

    • Watch dropped frames and congestion
    • Use a working angle if a camera drops
    • Coordinate shutdown with the crew

Game-day checklist

Checks stay in this browser when storage is available. They do not change the game.

Need a hand?

OBS says Disconnected.

Ask the rig operator to check that OBS and its WebSocket server are running and the control server can reach them. Repeatedly tapping STREAM will not fix the connection.

A camera or fan feed went offline.

Switch to a working angle if available. Check camera power, network, ingest status, and the FAN FEED status. Use Reconnect for a stalled preview, then verify the spectator page.

Still stuck? Tell your team organizer which role, field, and screen you are using, and what you expected to happen.
